Die internationale nichtstaatliche Organisation Agha Khan hat erst jüngst das Programm "Tchelekovedenije" ins Leben gerufen. Leiter des Programmes ist Sardullo Rahimov. Hier werden unter Anleitung erfahrener Filmleute wie dem Kameramann und Regisseur Safar Xakdodov junge Leute in Klassen technisch und künstlerisch mit dem Handwerk vertraut gemacht. Auch eine Theaterklasse arbeitet im Dom Kino, wo auch der gut ausgerüstete Schnittplatz untergebracht ist. Hier wird mit internationaler Finanzierung und künstlerischer Leitung professioneller Nachwuchs herangezogen. In diesem Kreis trafen wir auch uns schon bekannte junge Regisseure, die ihre Arbeiten beim Osteuropäischen Filmfestival in Cottbus 2001 eingereicht hatten:

The history of the "Cinema group" beginns 1999. When the administration of the Aga Khan Humanities Project for Central Asia (AKHP) in connection with production studio "Kinoservise" decided to found group of students which would make documentary and drama films. The AKHP provided agood equipment base for the group and "Kinoservise" invited best professionals of cinematography in Tajikistan to work with the students. 16 students from different universities of Dushanbe took part in first master classes in: Scriptwriting, Directing, Acting, Filming, Lighting, Editing.
Today are more than 50 students in the project. And there is no comparable cinema school in Tajikistan. Students, which took part in this project, could take very good positions in other organizations. There is only one problem (after finances), which block the growth: the bad distribution because of no own TV channels. Now the "Cinema group" works with international NGO's.
